Dr. Alan Steere and his followers, who do not recognize the existence of a "chronic state" of Lyme Disease have an enormous (NEGATIVE) impact on the diagnosis and treatment of Lyme Disease and other TBDs- despite the fact that Dr. Steere and his followers are clearly OUTNUMBERED by a growing number of Lyme disease patients and Lyme literate physicians. WHY?
