According to the Centers for Disease Controll (CDC), Lyme Disease is a CLINICAL DIAGNOSIS, meaning an experienced physician should be able to make a diagnosis based on symptoms, exposure to ticks (or other vectors of the bacteria), physical examination, and patient history.

Unfortunately, most physicians are unaware of this, and tend to rely solely upon the blood test results offered by standard, insurance approved tests.
